ok ive been searching for this answer for a while now trying as hard as possible not to **** you guys off by asking an already asked question....but finding all of these turbo parts and getting everything together isnt a problem.....the only problem is the oil supply for my d16z6 honda motor......is there any other way to supply oil to the turbo other than tapping the block....and if there isnt can you guys lead me in the correct direction of some faq's or let me know how you guys are doing this......if its wrather simple to tap the block i can do it....i just dont have the tools or means to take my motor apart.....also this si is going to be a daily driver how reliable are these turbo setups..i know you dont know what im going to use..but lets just say ill pass lots of this by you guys b4 i purchase so i know it will be the correct parts to buy....i saw that post about why its good to be that guys neighbor and it didnt seem like he had any problems getting the oil to the turbo...cause its obvious he didnt take the motor apart of anything like that....so please point me the right direction......by the way i watched all those movies and you guys make some bad *** cars.......

u dont have to tap the block for the oil feed. u use the existing oil pressure sensor hole and t off of that. very easy.
they have kits for that at tunertoys and lsdmotorsports. or piece it together yourself at mcmaster.

the oil return needs to be added to the oil pan. but the block doesn't have to be modified.

awesome that means i can get started sooner than i thought....i know im not suposed to ask but since i already started this post what turbo should i use for my d16z6....so far i got the impression that i should use a t3 but i dont know who to trust....and i was looking and it seemed to me like uberdata was a necessary part of any build...is there anyway around spending 400 dollars on uberdata?....so i found this site like 2 days ago and b4 this site i thought boosting would cost atleast 4 grand so i just quit thinking about it being as though i dont have that much money....but anyway so far i figured
T/3 garrett turbo
modified 95 civic hatch manifold
dsm bov
any boost guage
might buy an oil supply kit
dsm 450cc injectors
piping i havent thought about yet i figured that would be the least hard to find

read the FAQ's a lil more.

Uberdata is free, its the chipping hardware that costs money.

an hmt turbo set up shouldnt be more than 1.5k, just look in the classifieds you will ever need. take your time cuz it sounds like you dont know much. look around for deals, there are plenty here at hmt.

you need to buy an oil supply kit, how else would you lubricate the turbo?

just read and research more man.

You can buy an oiline feed kit from Stealthmode on E-bay. It taps into the oil pressure sensor and that is how you get your oil to your turbo. The hole is located right above your oil filter and there will be an adapter that comes with the kit to fit into the oil hole, and it will have three or two holes coming out of the adapter and you can plug your oil inlet to your turbo in one and the oil pressure sensor into the other.
