newb check light question!!!!

newb check light question!!!!
hey, i've used this site for a while but this is my first post- so im a newb, but i need help!
I've got a 95 del sol, d16z6, t25, afc hack w/ 450cc, bov, small FMIC, and it runs about 10 lbs.
The car runs well, and pulls strong, however this is a fairly new set up and ive got a check light problem. It comes on when i let off the gas and leave the car in gear, and let the engine slow the car. It happens at any speed , gear , or RPM. sometimes it takes a sec or two to come on but it will
?? So to keep it from coming on, every time i want to slow down, even a little i have to push in the clutch, and then brake.
The only other time it comes on is if im on the highway in 5th gear and floor it, after it runs under pressure for a few seconds sometimes the light comes on?? thats it.
ANY ideas or help is greatly appreciated----thanks!!!

i have a great idea. take off the gauge cluster, figure out which bulb is the check engine light and pull the bulb out. i did that after mine turned on cause i don't have a catalytic and it turned on when i went from stock exhaust to 2 1/2".

yea i would just pull it out except my car runs like ---- when its on!!
So does anyone have any ideas as to what might be setting it off,or anything i can try to fix this problem other than chipping the ecu, or removing the light?? Thanks for the help!!

OK so this is an old post but i finally caecked the codes and i still havent fixed this problem, and still really need help with it. So the code the light reads is #3, and i guess thats the MAP sensor code, so i still have no idea, ANY suggestions, please

if it was wired wrong then it would read the code every time the car was under boost (right?), but it dosent. The code only comes up when the engine is under extreem vacume, and im slowing down. When im accelerating or just maintaining speed everythings fine.
