Default new turbo set up civic

Parts List:
T3 Turbo (off a Volvo)
Kamikaze Turbo Manifold
5.5 PSI Internal Wastegate(from a Chrysler)
Volvo Bov
2.25'' Fuel filler hose for couplings
3 U Bends
12:1 FMU
Stealthmode Oil Line Kit
Autometer Boost Gauge

1997 Honda Civic D16Y8 With 160,000 Miles 5 Speed

T3 Turbo

Shitty fuel managment for now going to get 450's and uber soon

Downpipe

Ten dollar volvo bov from a junkyard souds preatty good

Mounted internal wastegate on frame

Cheap *** HMT Setup!!

Seems to pull preatty good for what it consists of. Total cost for kit was about $700.
Got it dynoed this weekend at a local car show. Wheel horsepower was 136. Probobaly a poor number but it's fun to drive none the less.

Wastegate is supposed to open up at 5.5 PSI but for some reason is opening at 4psi. Checked charge pipes and iat sensor by throttle body. Anyone know what may be causing this loss? Want to turn up the boost when i get better management

This site has been a huge help in getting this done thanks to everyone.

136whp on 4psi w/fmu is not bad. clean hmt setup! good job.
do you have a close pic of the tb map sensor location.
i see it hanging w/ some check valves going to the tb.

Wastegate is supposed to open up at 5.5 PSI but for some reason is opening at 4psi.
did you lengthen the wastgate arm to mount it the way you did? If so, thats why you are only getting 4psi. Make/buy a boost controller and a bit more boost.

The arm is longer than it would have been stock but still opens up the flapper the same way. Would the arm being longer make a difference?
