I recently posted a thread asking if a t3/t4 to4e a/r 63 57 trim would be to big for a z6 and i was told boost would come later in the rpms which is cool but i just recieved my turbo and damn i dont know its huge i have some pics one of which is compared to a t3 42/48 that i have well after looking at these pics what do you think will i be ok with such a big turbo i dont mind not having full boost till 5 grand as long as it comes will this work for me also i have the flapper part and wastegate from the t3 and it fits on the t3 t4 but only with one bolt but it was on there really good is this wastegate ok to use on this turbo thanx i can post pix with the wastegate parts on if needed

hehe, last night I just swapped out a .42/.48 for that exact same turbo (from ssautochrome) on my daily driver ZC Hatchback. It's very nice, it spools around 3800-4000 on my low compression 7.8 1.6.

 

great i feel alot better about it now its so huge this is the biggest turbo i have ever seen in real life atleast haha i cant wait to get it up and running do you know anything about me using the wastegate and the flapper asembly on it it fit and one bolt bolts up can i use it?

 

Full boost or starts to spool? The t3/t4 your talking about right? In what gear?
