I had a problem like that to, where you give it gas and it idles down and starts to die, it turned out it was the map sensor, double check that, even if it was good before, mine went out for no reason.

well try another one. hopefully thats the problem. there was no check engine light though.... i was also thinking the tps, but again..no CEL

cam timing is off..........1/2 tooth error (4.75 degrees) due to the 5mm shorted D15 block deck height.

Use a Y7/Y8 cam gear and set the ignition timing to 18-19 BTDC.
