I did get an air filter and the silicone coupler i was needing, they are both on now but not in this picture
Attachment 10248

I'm thinking i'm going to try to bend this, not sure if it'll work. But it obviously doesn't right now either
Attachment 10249

Big thanks to the super old kerosene heater.

Attachment 10250

I will be pretty busy in the next couple weeks but i'm going to start tuning soon.
Hopefully it won't be too hard to get it to idle.

Setup looks solid, but you really should do the obd0-1 conv

You miss it now that you are homeless.

Setup looks great, but you should have taken the dual core radiator instead of the single core.

Keep update!

1 thing: If this was my build, i'd do something with that oil line. It's rediculous close to the mani and wg elbow.

Other than that, nice.

Sucks about your turbo and motor getting teh suck but i love DA tegs. Post moar!

if your gonna use that to hold open the IAB (secondaries) in ur intake manifold, just run a vac hose from a nipple from the manifold to that vac nipple that controls the secondaries. My h22 isn't boosted yet, but at idle and hi vacuum my IAB's are closed, and when theres low vacuum (i.e.- WOT) the IABS open and its 8 runners. You can see them move when u rev it from under the hood.
On a stock ECU/setup, the ECU controls a vacuum box and tells the IABS to open at a certain RPM at a certain load on the engine...well with it rigged str8 form the manifold to the actuator, it'll open up under certain load, which is loss of vacuum, which means it'll be open for boost too, not just all the time.

I like ur enginuity tho....

From that angle it does look alot closer than it really is. Its kind of close, but it will definitely never touch. There's probably about a 2-3" gap

If i just ran a vac line from the IM to the nipple, it would open under vacuum then close under boost. Unless i had a line that only saw vacuum.

I know how it works, the ecu grounds a solenoid at a certain rpm, which supplies vacuum to that nipple, opening the IABs.
