im new to the turbo game so i really didnt kno about the boost controller but i read in a magazine that they were using a boost controller and were able to switch it from street 2 track use with a touch of a button and slo13 the turbo was free so i am takin full advantage and yes i knew it came off a diesel my gramps works at a diesel shop so i knew it came off one and as renr said i aint gonna have a prob spoolin it up

You can't turn the boost down lower than what your wastegate spring is set at. So in your case the lowest you could go is 18 psi. You can use a boost controller to turn up your boost but 18 psi is the lowest you could go.

sweet deal Ron-Jon, that turbo's gonna work pretty well. It is a bit larger granted, but you have to remember that spool up time is only an issue on the street from a dead stop. At the track your gonna be poundin it off the lights and even on the street once you get through 1st gear, you'll be in your R's the rest of the way.
