aren't h23 rods shorter than f22 rods and wouldnt that cause a problem?

for the most part, I'm pretty positive that H23 rods and F22's rods are the same. Also, H23 rods will swap right into the old B20A5 motor that came in the late 80's prelude's

Exaclty but make sure when you get the kit on and everything you shift fast so you dont lose boost, otherwise your turbo will take longer to spool...common sense but with a bigger spool time it might help

Yes sir, h23 and f22a1 rods are the same length. I got a sweet deal on some h23 rods from tuner toys.

I mean ---- dude, if that thing came off a 5.x liter turbo and was in boost by 2.6k rpm, imagine at what rpm that bitch is gona spool at in your car. You didnt even bore it out some.

why sleeve an f22 block when the iron sleeve will take 400-500whp w/o a problem.
forged rods, pistson, and upgraded valvetrain.. what more needs to be done to be "fully built"

h23 and f22 have the same exact rods. both have a 5.572 length, .935 width, 2.008 be bore, .8649-.8654 pin bore.

as far as i know, eagle doesnt make anything for the f22 or h23. the only major company that makes rods for the h23/f22 are crower and they cost damn near 700.

importbuilders and probe make rods for the f22/h23 and i have heard good things about them. i heard from a guy that used to work at importbuilders that the importbuilder rods are basically probe rods but the rod bolts used in the IB rods are slightly better than probes bolts.

raceeng.com has some off the shelf f22 forged pistons w/ stock 8.8:1 CR made by Wiseco.

when i have the money this will be my setup.. raceng/wiseco forged pistons, probe/IB rods, stock sleeves, and stock head w/ jdm f22b dohc or h23 intake manifold and bored throttle body spooling a t3/to4e 57trim .60/.63ar.

I'm not worried about them. If something does go wrong, it's just an f22. Not like I'm blowing up an h22.

srry, I had forgotten that you could use forged rods/pistons without resleeving. I am so used to talkin about H22's and ----.

but yea, thats true that you can get over 400hp from the stock sleeves, just some good pistons and rods.

You guys should do an f22/h23 head swap, have a better platform to start on. ya know?
