i have one almost the same. but its a .60/.67

i think the accord will spool it up. just try it see what happens.. if you find someone that makes the flanges let me know i need some too. you should try starting with a smaller wastegate or get an external

IMO, thats not very built. I was thinking more like you resleeved it. I mean, that is a big turbo to get to spool befiore 4k, so you either need get some highercr pistons and get a little more than a rebuilt head wtih vavle job done, or get a smaller tubo.

I mean ---- dude, if that thing came off a 5.x liter turbo and was in boost by 2.6k rpm, imagine at what rpm that bitch is gona spool at in your car. You didnt even bore it out some.

i concur about the higher compression. 9 to 1 at least. I do think that this turbo should give you good results, even if it does spool late

.8 exh. side isnt that bad. You guys are making it out like its not gonna spool till 6500.
I bet its gonna spool just fine. It wont be a T25, but Id guess 10psi by 5000ish.

I think his extra .6l of displacement is gonna be a bit more helpful in spooling a larger turbo than what most 1.6l turbo honda owners think.
Get that fucker on there and find out :)

Dam, would that fit on a DSM manifold? It looks like the regular 4 stud setup. Any pics of the f22a1? I have the small ass td04 on my unbuilt f22a1

I would definately switch to an external gate, 18psi seems to be a bit much for a street setup, You may want to check out arias pistons they have a 9.4 to 1 compression ratio piston for the f22a1 I was looking at those for mine

i plan on using a boost controller so i will be runnin between 7-10 on the sterret and 18 at the track and my gramps likes fabricating stuff so he is gonna be making the flanges and he said maybe the manifold for it but im sure renr that he would make a flange for it if u give a drawing or something and i contacted wiseco about pistons they quoted me like 350 for custom forged 8.7to1 pistons no pics yet but i will post up during the build

You do know that a boost controller can't lower boost from what the wastegate is set at, right?

So if your wastegate really is set at 18 psi that is not an option.

I was going to say, "All that work for internal Gate!!"
