This is nice, but nothing out of the ordinary.
Yeah I don't see the big deal either, but nevertheless nice looking car/setup

I was hoping to see you build a ic from scratch but it looks good none the less

how well do those cheap ebay FMIC's work? they look good, but so do the ssautoshit turbos.

To be honest, the core doesn't look that good. The tubes protrude out into the end tanks about 1/4 inch, which causes turbulance, and the tubes aren't designed that well either.

They look fine, and don't leak or anything, and they cool the air down, but I wouldn't use one on a high horsepower setup. For basic HMT kits they will probably be fine. I'm using one on my setup, but I'm aiming for right around 200 or maybe a little less.

I would have to agree with ej1 wilcox, they are not great for high horsepower applications but I figured they are better than a sidemount. I also used one on my old 240, SR20, it worked great, i ran 15lbs on that car all day.

In the bibal (Maximum Boost), Corkey
Bell states that protruding tube IC's may be a little more resrictive but the turbulance gives the air more contact time so the molecules can give up their heat. Plus with the reducers the air will slow down across the core.

Sano set-up.

i dont think the inl;et tube protruding would make a difference, but on the outlet tube it would be bad sence the air would have a hard time getting out
