To be honest with you, this manifold is prolly the most hack you can get. People say welding to cast doesn't work, and to a point, they're right. Youcan weld to cast, it just wont be very strong, as the weld doesn't penetrate nearly as far compared to the mild steel collector I welded onto it. I solved this problem by bracing the ---- out of it. The structural integrity is all in the bracing, the manifold itself doesnt support much wieght. The welds dont do much but effectively make the whole thing airtight.

Yeah I'm aware of people doing that, but with the BOV venting air, (as well as the some minor boost leaks lol) putting the AFM right in front of the intake made the most sense to me. The amount of air measured at the AFM is the amount of air the engine is seeing.

well, the air that the AFM is seeing, and is pushing the gate back is far more dense; being pressurized, than the normal atmospheric pressure air that the turbo is pulling in. The normal setup with gated AFM's like that is to run it pre turbo and recirculate the BOV air post AFM. If it works, thats cool, I've just never seen anyone run it in line. Apparently there's something else you can do to those to scale them back for larger injectors, something with taking that black rubber ---- off and putting a resistor inline. I'm a little put off to even trying to mess with one because it seems pretty sketchy. There's a guy on here with the user name of Gavin who's built a megasquirt unit, and has a link to others who have for this engine management system. Seems pretty straight forward, if you're interested as a future means of tuning. 4age's don't cost to much but they sure are a bitch to try to get.

Where does boost come in on that t25 at?

You take off the cover and there's a geared wheel inside, You can tighten or loosen, to make leaner or richer accordingly.

Oh and boost comes on around 2800 RPM

****, does it run smoothly when molested ? If you get a wide band I'd really like to see your afr's across the board if possible.
