MPFI conversion noob help
Hey there,
Ive got a 1995 Honda Civic LSI(EUROPEAN) which is a 1.5 16V DPI engine (Code D15B2) which has a nasty Dual point injection system on it, well im looking to convert it to Multi point and was wondering if someone can give me some advice.
What engine do i need to get the parts off? because in theory I would only need to change the inlet mainfold and injectors, along with the ECU, is this correct
thanks

Re: MPFI conversion noob help
You need the intake manifold complete, ecu, distributor and maybe some odds and ends plugs etc.Your Civics in Europe are different then here so we cant tell you what model but find the similar year, engine etc that is MPFI and get the parts from it.You normally reatain the OE harness from the DPFI and modify it as that is sually easiest. You will need the ecu pinout[wiring diagram] for both models of car and add and move aorund the pins as needed.DPFI was last used in North America in the 88-91 Civic/CRX and here we get the parts from a 88-91 SI model that has the D16A6 non vtec single cam.
