That looks like a ------- skateboard bearing. Are all the cages for BB Turbos that low of bearing count?
I mean less BB = less force distribution

I mean it's not like it's a lot of force on it, but the rotation. IDK seems sketch.

if they are teflon sealed, that wouldnt allow oil to the bearing though?

the seal is only on one side of the bearing. teflon side out.

www.towerhobbies.com search for 6x11 as a search term, all one word. look for teflon or full sheilded

Do you use these for the turbine and compressor side? If this really works it really changes the game when it comes to ball bearing turbos, you can get a cheap 500 dollar turbo and make it a 1000 dollar turbo with 50 dollars in parts.

would bearings like this work as replacments for journal bearings in a MHI turbo? The bearings in a MHI have holes in them to allow the lubirication to come through... how would you mount a bearing in a turbo with that style oiling?

I did a search and went back to 05 but couldnt find any more info on doin this mod... i love free/cheap DIY performance so any more info would be killer
