Re: Miata build thread
Thanks man. Got some more done today.
Got some more work on the downpipe done. Should be working on the exhaust tomorrow.
intake done except for welding
Oil feed wasnt nearly as difficult as I thought it'd be

Re: Miata build thread
I'm gonna run a knockoff Type-S and recirculate. Once I get some datalogs for the MAF, I can emulate the MAF signal through the MAP signal and dump to atmosphere if I want. Mostly that would be useful if I were to blow off a pipe. I'd be able to get home without fixing it first.

I'm just gonna pull a basemap out of my *** and see how it works, then do a street tune before I beat on it. Gotta get this beast running before Saturday so I can drive it across town to install the clutch.
Still got enough to keep me busy during the week.

Re: Miata build thread
Small update:
Tonite I worked on the exhaust. Got the downpipe 90% welded up and started on the rear section (flange, flex-pipe, first muffler, straight pipe). It's a bit crooked so I'm gonna have to cut it and re-do a bit, no biggie. Gonna fab up a bracket that connects the DP to the transmission to keep the weight of some of the exhaust off of it. Thats gonna be a bitch but I've made up my mind i'm gonna do it....well at least eventually.
Got my hot and cold pipes smoothed out some, added an IACV hookup for the cold pipe made out of some old bicycle handlebars LOL.
Painted both the pipes then I remembered I forgot to put on the BOV flange. gosh deng. So I gotta sand some paint off and find a good spot for it.
Ordered a new feed kit for the feed fitting from Stealthmode. As soon as that arrives, it's all on me to get this beast started. Aiming for wednesday or Thursday to start the sucker up
