i have a BOV from an mx-6...it sounds loud (like, gran turismo ) but then again I've only ever heard my BOV and not someone elses. thus, I don't really have anything else to compare it to...my kid sister had a party, and for fun I stuck one of those noise makers that unroll like a snake's tounge at the tip of my BOV (sans snake tongue of course) any how, when i released the throttle it sounded like a dying seagull...funniest sound, got some even funnier looks.

after about 15 minutes of that, i took it off and had the car sound normal again.
