HKS SSQV opening but not making any kind of sound???
The SSQV vacuum hose is routed to the fuel pressure regulator vacuum source. All the charge pipes are connected to the intercooler... What could be wrong? I did open the blow off valve to install it on the charge pipe, with the C-clip, but I put everything back the way it was. What could be the problem here?

Hello everyone, it is the real HKS SSQV not the knock off... Yes I am just trying to rev it, and I am not driving it down the street.. I do not have a boost gauge, and I am boosting 8 PSI (the .6 bar) spring. I just installed the turbo kit, and I am just trying to start the car and see how it blows off, etc. I am not going to drive it until I get the car tuned. I also do not have a downpipe, nor do I have a dump tube (i dont have these things yet)

uhh yea your probably not gonna hear it because your not making enough boost when you just rev it, u create boost under load (while driving) my car is the same. drive it and you'll hear it. also u should get a boost gauge might have a boost leak

ummm no bov wont blow off unless it has a load on it that will make it creat boost. if your tubo is large than it wount spool in neutral.
get a boost gauge and if you make boost, than you should wonder if it is blowing off.

I did the exact same thing...wondered for 4 days why my stuff wasnt working while revving in neutral...TAKE it up the road...as long as you dont have any other issues like boost leaks, youll hear it...trust me..these guys on there made sure that i knew to take it up the road and put a load on the engine..
