lol no sorry your dumb because i worked there quite long and they buy cars at auction and evaluate wether or not they will make more parting it out or selling it. shity 90's domestics almost always hit the yard, even if there running and driving with a good body. seen it every day, was sad sometimes seeing ---- like that die way young.

remindes of the 92 cavalier z24 convertable i did almost 100mph threw the yard in, then ripping the engine out and crushed the body =/

or the beautiful 97 firebird i have pictures of doing donuts in then cutting it right down the middle for a front clip, that never even sold and is prolly still sitting there....

and that firebird, engine will go for like 800, trans for like 600, rear end 250-300ish bumpers 150 each, cluster, column ect. all 50-150, doors for 250-300 windows for 40-50 i mean it adds up real quick, all on a car they MIGHT have gotten 3-4 grand for if they put some money into it, never mind all the lil bullshit parts they charge the 20 dollar minimum for.

infact, after they sell all the parts they can they crush the body for atleast 75-100 stripped bare with some trash trown in it.

Then you go to the import section, and the few they have, are all crashed and belong there. they treat them like gold, hence why many people tell them the parts they got are from a sunfire/cavalier/saturn because there cheap dime a dozen ----.

Realy? Is that why there were versions of the quad 4 used in oldsmobile race cars in scca? And yes Ive seen acheiva scx's and grand am's run high 14's bone stock. But also there can be different variables in track times times like elevation and what not, Im just saying in general.

Ecotecs are garbage..right, the fastest 4cyl in the world was an eco for a while, not sure if its still is. Your comparing races that could have soo many variables. You realize theres more ecotecs than just the supercharged lsj right?

what grand am's run 14's stock?? yea theres lots of trash *** ecotecs and there all garbage. And scca is an organization,much like nhra STUPID not a race. There's solodex, SoloII, AutoX, etc... that's like saying oh blah blah blah dodge neon acr which was a world class car lol built for autocross, which it was. It's a very good car on top of it.
