its out of a 95 gst. SO if its set at 8to 9 do you think i should even try to lower the boost? and if so should i use the bending method or the lengthening method?

the stock actuator should be set at 8 psi. they push 12 psi stock on the GST/GSX's. yeah, lower the boost...best way to do it is to get an external gate...but if you cant find a cheap used one than just bend the arm...

Ok so I took off the wastegate and I am holding it in my hands right now as if it was mounted onto the turbo. What part of the arm on the wastegate do I actually bend, and do I bend its towards the wastegate bracket or away?

This is the stock wastegate off of the T25 and according to Honda Tuning Magazine the stock boost is set at 12 psi! They bent it .25 of an inch which is a pretty small bend.

on my ihi i used some small washers to move the actuator closer to the exhast, and it lowered it a few pounds. better than bending stuff.

I ended up bending the arm on the wastegate pretty simple.. the bad news is that it lags really bad until about 5k rpm when it reaches max boost at about 5psi and sometimes spikes to 7psi then back to 5.

cant you just put one of those cheap homemade boost controller in line with the wastegate and the turbo? or does that only work with external ones?
