Default leaks

i've got some smoke coming from the bottom half of the exhaust manifold flange (where it mmets the head) any ideas on how i could eliminate that?

what in the world did you do? Did you bust the exhaust manifold gasket? If that's the case, I'd take it off, and replace it..

Now.. if it's the manifold iteself (i.e not flag edge), then I'd get that thing flat at a machine shop or something and have it flush. Leaks are of NO VALUE!

ya it really depends on where the actual leak is. If its a crack between the flange and a runner then either get it weldeed or a new one. If its between the head and the flange check the gasket, and check the flatness of the flange itself.
