thats fine i was merely stating that they make great power boosted..and are a fun bolt in swap and are uber cheap

d series rock.. never personaly had one though .. but i love umm .. worked on alot of them and just boosted my roomates 91 crx si with a obd-1 zc, running 10 psi on a t bird 48/52 ihi and it blew the new oem replacement clutch on the first night of boost.. when the clutch was gripping earlier in the day it had no prob roaching off 15' ziex's in the top of third

 

i boosted a d16a1 (usdm ZC) it LOOOOVED boost! The vac advanced ZC/d16a1 also has stronger rods than othe d-series. (not too much stronger)

Werd...worst thing I ever did was go b-series, especially with the amount of money involved. Which is why I'm getting another '90 hatch in a few months...D-series boost ownage FTW

The DOHC ZC maybe technically considered a d-series, but for all intened purposes its an ls with a smaller bore. I dont think ive ever seen someone make 250whp+ on a stock d-series, have you? B-series ftw
