JDM DOHC ZC Turbo
 

i just turboed my DOHC ZC and everything is hooked up correctly,it has a rough idle, and if i runs for a few it will stall out and then ill have to unhook the 12V supply to the resistor box and the car idles and runs great for like 2 secsi then dies, think im running too much fuel, is there anyway i can level out my air/fuel ratio, i only have 89 octane in it and i should have 93 or higher if anyone can help me. I have 450cc injectors.this set up is in a 89 civic hatch.

you cant just throw in 450's with nothing to controll them :S, whats your fuel managment

Fuel management is for suckers. For those 4 seconds your car is on, nothing else matters. :1

Lol this reminds me of a kid I met at a car show. He had a b16 swapped ef, no boost, and ran like ----. I took a quick look at the car for him, and he had a gm 3bar map sensor hooked up on a stock ecu. ::)

ZC's suck on boost anyways. I wouldent push more than 5 pounds on it.

i think you dont know what your talking about.... zc's love boost,, any amount of boost they love.. i can put you in touch with a guy thats makes over 500 WHP with a ZC and you can tell him they suck.. also you can pm crxrocks on here that is the main guy at thezcr.com and he will tell you that he just made 288 whp on his zc mildly tuned or me when i get mine dynoed an tuned and im shooting for 275-300 WHP on a completely stock block.... or you could ask CHRIS the mod on here what his old zc made on gettodyne.. so before you talk about something where you dont have a clue do some reasearch about what they are capable of...plus on the downside no matter what form the zc is n/a or boosted it still makes more torque than a b16

im talking from my experience. I know a bunch of people who think d series suck cock. Everyone has there own opinion. That was mine.
