I got my an fitting to thread on, but around the actual fitting is just rtv silicone. Orange of course.

I JB welded my oil return. Been holding great for 1.5 years so far

I haven't had a problem so far...ofcourse my system is off the car right now so it's just plugged up, been about 6 months.
