Intro and whatnot with questions on my turbo!

Re: Intro and whatnot with questions on my turbo!
they narrowed it down for you, so you should have a pretty good idea of what you got.
get a wideband
i got a buddy im in the middle of making a kit for, with a no name (or any type of id on it at all) turbo. but it looks rather large and in charge, so i'm gonna have to start with very low boost and tune carefully.

Buddy's S-10.. 10.04 @13x mph. Goin back for 9's soon as well
A lil burnout:
If you pay attention, you see it get squirrley at the top end of the track.. he had to back off.
Here's the specs of that run:
60' -- 1.532
1/8 -- 6.718
1/8 mph -- 103.63
1/4 -- 10.606
1/4 mph -- 124.22
This was the last run of the night w/175 shot. track had cooled off and well.. traction was a no no. pay attention to how long he was on the brakes before he went through the traps and how long it took the lil civic to get there :P The civic needed more Vtec!
And some of t3h Teg!
The CRX is my Bro's.. it has a mini me swap that has just been trubo'd as of last weekend. Not up n running right yet, hoping to tune it this week.
I made the aluminum pieces myself. The truck is a father son project, it was my first vehicle and has since then turned into a lil monster of it's own.

I'm going to go home and pull the turbo off the manifold. I was told the .63 should be on the inlet of the exhaust housing. I'll update tomorrow.

Where you at in FL?? I'm only an hour north of FL inTifton, GA myself. That truck looks pretty sick...I see alot of V8 swapped S-10's and Rangers in this area. If you got that Precision turbo for free you're definitely one step ahead of the game.

That sound right?
Regardless, I've found out that it's NOT an Ebay turbo, which makes me very, very happy. I do believe this is a lil big for what I need, but I guess I'll just run low boost. I'm only lookin for about 250 to the wheels, since this is my daily driver. I do have a spare GSR swap AND a spare LS if something bad happens, so blowing the engine really isn't a concern to me.

It's 10.014 @13x mph. Was gonna go back this Friday but Hurricane Fay screwed that up. So maybe next weekend he'll go back and run his 9. His nitrous kit goes to 250 hp.. so it's just a matter of traction before he gets it
