Default internally wastegated

ok so i got this turbo off of some chrysler, not sure which one but i know it has one of those weird t3 flanges. or so i was told its a t3, is it? its made by airresearch and it is internally wastegates. someone told it was 5psi and another person said around 8. im wondering, is there a way to tell by a serial numbre or something on it? also i want to run 8-10 psi so if this is 5psi is how do i pump up the boost in a reliable way? can i play with the internal wastegate? do they make springs? sorry im sorta new to this, i know theres boost controllers but im not exactly sure what and how those things work, and how reliable they are. thanks.
