Default Internal WG question.....

The rubber line leading from the outlet side of the turbo to the internal WG is where my question comes into play. See my Dad thinks that you should be able to blow through the other end of the rubber line and the WG should open. Is this true? If so, I got another problem, my doesn't open. I have no idea if this is a good way to test the WG or not, but he tried and it never budged. Anyone? Thanks!

It should open at whatever psi its set for. Sounds like your dad doesnt have quite enough hot air to blow into that tube. get an air compressor and air regulator hook it up to the hose and slowly turn up the pressure till the wastgate acctuator "acctuates"!!
