Default which intercooler/bov?

well I finally found a jyard with turbo cars that weren't molested. There is a saab 900, a mx6, and a volvo 780.
I'm pulling the mx6 turbo cause I already bought the adaptor plate(and I'm not going more than 6 psi).
What bov and intercooler should I snag? the volvos is friggin huge, I'll have to hack at the sabb for awhile to even get under the hood, and I heard probe/mx6 bovs/intercoolers are *****. So if anyone has a suggestion on which ones to get I'd appreciate it.

I'd go with the saab intercooler. Those volvo ICs suck. And theyre way too big and plastic lol. As far as bov I'd find a dsm 1g. In fact I have one for sale .

i think either the volvo or the saab has that bosch bov. Its good enough imo for under 10 psi, its what im using.

Not to hijack this thread, but how the hell do you attach a BOV to the IC line? I've never seen it in person (so excuse my ignorance), but the BOV's I see have a flat flange and it connects to a round IC tube? On further thought, what's the right way to do it (i.e. weld or bolt on vs. JB weld).

Drill a hole in the charge pipe and weld the flange onto the pipe.

True. You will have to make a flange and weld it to your charge pipes. then bolt on your BOV; or weld it.

If you dont care about looks... then

get the bov from the MX6 it will be attached to a pipe so all you have to do is connected the pipe to your charge pipes and hook up the vac line to the bov. Most likly the bone yard people wont even know what the BOV and just give it to you with the turbo.

As for Intercooler, I would suspect the saab intercooler is better, I know the MX6 IC sucks and its a bad fit. And it sounds like the volvo plastic ICs are that good.
