rx7 460cc
p28 5 speed
stock but have the tiny *** 2.5 that i need to install after i fix my little issues

when the car is off how far should the oil come to the top of the pan? my oil return line is welded as far to the top as it can be and when i was taking it off the oil level was higer and i lost about a quart

This is what i did i removed my oil pan i put 4 1/2 quarts of water in the pan then marked it where the water line was for i know where the best place to put my return line in the pan.

the two pins in the green harness with a cable got real old when i was getting the codes off my d16
you sure you have the switch flipped the right way?

still have the solid check engine light with the new bin, but it seems to be burning less oil after i changed fittings from a straight barb to a 90 degree one, i think if i just run a larger size hose the oil consumption will stop all together

does anyone recomend a place on the board to check my connections first

never mind, ---- that damn switch...cut it no cel lol
i have tried it before but that was when i wasent removing checksum from my crome bins
easy enough fix.....im actually kind of pissed that it was the switch....i have been dickin with it for nearly 6 months


Friday i plan to drill and re-tap my oil drain and run it to a bucket hopefully it will fix it..

Sounds like a bad chip job maybe? I would try the ECU in another car, even though you'll probably get the same results.

its works...no cell lol i confused myself with the position of the switch
