Default Ignition retard

How much should you retard the timeing on the distributor when running a turbo? If your running TE.. Should it be set at factory specs or should it be retarded a bit?

With any turbocharged car the timing should retard a bit under boost. Stock timing on the dx d series is like 16 degrees or some ----. Do not keep the stock timing all throughout the band.

Cool. So I should leave the distributor at factory specs then do all the retarding with turboedit?
