if everything else is correct id just take that wastegate apart.. i have the same w/g and after tkaing those allens screws off u see a big nut like 18mm nut i think and tighten her up if its loose... not much else u can do to ensure its working...

keep us updated..

and try a known working boost gauge as well.. theyre like 15$

It never kicked into limp mode, and i ran it for a good 15 min or so around the block. I changed the spring in the WG before i put it on..i didnt check that nut tho..ill take her apart and check her on out tomorrow

let me tell u that the whole top part will spin pretty freely if that nut is loose... sory i left that out.. other wise u should be good.. if it is loose thro some locktite on it and tighten it up

OK...wastegate problem solved..just took it apart..put it back together after cleaning it..works like a charm..car will go pretty damn fast...as soon as boost hits 8psi in 2nd the tires break loose...and the same in 3rd...gotta love it..softer tires are a must after these melt..heres a few small pics..more later..im tryin to get a video camera for some video and sounds.

Good set up, looks nice and I love yellow CRXs. Theres a grandma with a 89 around where I live, and its MINT, 5 speed. Doesn't look like she will seel it anytime soon since I see her in it like once a week.

Don't thread jack, but ramhorns cost more, so I'd say that they flow better for sure. Just depends on if your going for all out whp race car, or just want some boost to play with. Cause I'm on a budget, and I'm puttin one on a daily driver, so cheap is the way for me.
