lil update...got the wideband wired n mounted..oil catch can mounted...bunch of small time consuming stuff..exhaust is done..shes quiet as hell till the bastard spools up and the wastegate opens. then its great!! im waiting on UPS to bring me my lil cooling fan so I can mount that, thats basically the only thing left other than some datalogging and tuning...more to follow tomorrow and friday after UPS visits.

ok i got my car put back together and took it up the road..boost is great!! Everything is good except the wastegate isnt opening..i got a 8psi spring and it boosted up to 12-14 psi a couple times and i didnt hear it open at all. gotta figure that out, and do some tuning..ill have some pictures up later

yeah bro put a load on it. 2-3 psi stopped is average I assume. I had a mean ass exhaust leak from the manifold to the turbo and didnt even make any at a stop. Should have directed me to a exhaust leak but im too cool to check. O0

can you get some more intercooler piping for the turbo to intercooler side. i have a 90 civic and i dont really kno how to route it and i dont want to do a side mount since i already have a front mount. thanks.

I just thought of something..maybe someone here can offer some comments...I'm running stock map sensor-theres NO WAY I can run 12-14 psi...stock reads 9.5 psi right? maybe my boost gauge is way off..while playing around with datalogging, i did notice the vacuum on the laptop and gauge were somewhat different..but the battery on the laptop didnt last long enough for me to see how accurate the boost reading was...hhmm...maybe my wastegate IS working..just gauge is wayyyyyy off...

if ur dumptube is open ull no if its opening.. even at 8psi
also a good thing ive learnd is to seperate the vacuum line source between the bov and wastegate...
also if im not to tired to think, i believe u can boost any psi on a map sensor.. itll just go into limp mode after a certain point which is right around10psi... ull no when that happens.. itll run like ass till u kill it and restart it...
if everything else is correct id just take that wastegate apart.. i have the same w/g and after tkaing those allens screws off u see a big nut like 18mm nut i think and tighten her up if its loose... not much else u can do to ensure its working...

keep us updated..

and try a known working boost gauge as well.. theyre like 15$
