These wastegates are actually very good.
They are internal, but they are piston type wastegates just like the external ones. I would use it.

It's ACH KAY ESSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!

Yes, we know that you have an HKS bov rofl. You seem to be very proud of it after mentioning it in damn near every reply. My advice to you is that you did a decent job gathering parts, but turboing a car, especially the one you want to, isn't like building Legos or Tinker Toys. If you attempt to do a turbo kit right now the chances are extremely high that you will cause lots of damage to your car and/or you won't ever get it finished.

You're a teacher, so you can't be completely stupid, but you're going to have to learn and research a TON before you're able to install/tune a turbo kit. Being a noob is totally fine, everyone has to start somewhere, but please heed my advice. Take the time to learn and you will be rewarded. If you get hasty because you have shiney parts you want to install it's a given that you will fail, or have to pay lots of $ to have someone else un----- your mess. Just my $.02. Good luck whatever happens.

Thanks 2G6 for your words. i am doing a lot of research. I also bought some books on Amazon regarding Turbo ( Torbochargers by Hugh Macinnes [this one is old, but has the basics] and also Maximum Boost by Corky Bell). As you said, it's a lot more then shinny parts . I've put everything on hold. I'm first checking the best parts that will work with my engine. (Toyota 3SFE 2.0) Which A/R, MAP, Trim. The purchase on Ebay was a dud. Oh well, back to the old drawing board. I'll keep posting here as I keep prograssing. Once again 2G6, thanks.

Well, lets say I'm the oldest rookie and hatrack, is a wise individual. But I guess all of use once in a while want to relive our pass. As they say in my country: "Recordar es vivir" "Remembering, is living" Know that I'm working, have a family, having a good year I just want to do some thing that I once couldn't for one reason or another. Peace

BTW, that picture you see is when I was 33 at Pacoima Middle school in Pacoima. That is in San Fernando Valley in LA. I lived in Van Nuys, the most beautiful place in the world.
