Re: I got to ID this sucker
OK, guys, let me tell you who I am and where I’m from, and above all, what the hell am I trying to do. I’m a school teacher working on my MA in the Caribbean University. Of course, I’m continuing my PhD on Educational Technology. I live on the sunny island of Puerto Rico. I’m 49 years old, and I’m a veteran of the invasion of Panama. (All the Way). My wife is from Pasadena CA. She is from Zacatecas Mexico. I worked in the famous school of Pacoima Middle School. This is the school where Ritchie Balans “Para Bailer la Bamba” remember. I work as a school teacher during the day (High School) and in the evening I go to and from campus. I’ve raced in Rallies and Solo 1. I love road racing. So, hay, I’m not a guru in cars, before I went to the service I had a RX3SP. So, there toy have it guys.:1
Sorry turbohf If I seem stupid. Breathing is easy, but a stranger has to slap you in the but when you're born in order for you to breath, and live. Peace man.

one thing that is usually valuable on this turbo is the staqe 1½ turbine shaft but as the picture shows, it has been taken off and replaced by some smaller wheel !! picture shows a 1/8" gap all around the turbine wheel. that's not gonna help the efficiency of the turbo.

Yes most of these T3 flanged turbos with the funny wastegate are stage 1½.
do not mistake with the audi and VW diesel that had a different, trapezoid shaped flange. Those have standard t3 wheels.
Sure, the stage 1½ spools up faster. it has more low end response and the improvement is major. You'll definitely feel it!
of course for making any decent power you need to use it with a larger compressor side such as t3 60 or most any T04B or T04E.
