I just officially toasted my 4th D series block.
One y8, one z6 and 2 b7's.

At least the last one was Boosted.

Y7 head/ b7 block (garbage pos with 160k on it. Cost me 15 bucks)
7psi non intercooled.
5th gear at 6500 rpm 3 times a day = Boom.

This is becoming a habit.
It was only boosted for about 2 weeks.

I miss it already.

Really has nothiing to do with it.
Especially when its midnight and its freezing out.

Block was a POS.

isnt a basemap the same as stock ?

 

what else you running?
injectors, exhaust setup. you got an air/fuel gauge to see if you're running lean/rich?
sorry to hear about the motor.

 

try not to boost so much on 5th gear--your engine experiences the most load on that gear.

 

stock D's don't like top gear runs :P

 

I almost always fifth gear boost.. that's what the highway is for, isn't it?
