How is Torque Determind?

how is Torque Determind in a Turbo Application?

Size of Turbo x Air/Feul ratio x Air/Feul Volume x Boost x A/R Ratio of Turbo xSize of Exhaustx Cam Profile??

Cos what i have Recently Discoverd is that More Boost isnt More Torque.

And you can have 120kw with 275nm or 170kw and 275nm.

why does the kw Fluctuate but the Torque stays the same?

uh..........

torque is determined by your AFR.

oh and your probly increseing psi, but not increasing the CFM of air flow. CFM's are a rough indecator of hp, therefore if you increase the psi on a turbo that is out of its efficency range you are heating up the air (more pressure) but its not flowing much more, obviously you loose hp

wtf?

It's determined on a dyno, that's how.

That's quite the formula you cooked up. Try these:
torque=force*distance
power=force*velocity
power=work/unit of time

Seriously though, none of these formulas will do you any good when boosting or modding a car.

To get more power keep the same torque at a higher rpm aka a shorter time between ignitions. This is where time decreases, between ignitions, and torque applied per unit of time, which is POWER, is increased.

My Air Feul Ratio is gererally 13.5 but some times goes richer like 12/11.

So what you are esaying i must make the Car run Leaner? and move away from Stoich

No fool. Add more air, but also add more fuel. Keep the afr at 11 under boost. Don't try to calculate horsepower using a formula... use a dyno.

same as NA engine Torque X RPM=Horsepower if we simplify.

200 Lb/pi @3000 RPM engine and 100 lb/pi @6000 RPM have the same Horsepower.

Ditch that afr/torque, there is no war to accurately calculate, there too much physics involved in there, gases velocity, frictions, resonnances, etc. It's just a small chunk of the equation
