I would think if you could get some copper sheet at a scrap yard or something called Dead soft aluminum woiuld work great too. THats what blowout proof header gaskets are made of, but couldn't tell you where to get it.

 

the gasket im running now is just a piece of sheet metal that my buddies dad cut out with his water jet machine.

Hey, I bought a sheet of copper at Lowe's today. I haven't attemted the gasket just yet; I have to wait until girlfriend / camera operator comes home. But there's enough copper to ---- up tremendously several times over.
