if you make that mbc in that site, be sure to drill out the bleeder hole just before the waste gate barbed fitting.
If your can't hold steady boost you need to drill a bigger bleeder hole so the air trapped inside from when the waste gate openned could escape allowing the waste gate to close faster and keep some boost in the pipes.

I just looked over the homemade MBC and was wondering if anyone has followed his directions and if the MBC was reliable? I'm thinking of getting a boost controller but ---- if that does what I need to do then I'll keep my money in my pocket... Any input?

start off w/a 1/32" drill bit like the link says. If you see your boost drops about 2 1/2 psi w/1/32" hole, then drill a 1/16" hole, and if boost then drops about 1 3/4 psi then drill a hole slightly bigger. I had to tune mine by drilling it with slightly bigger drill bits til i managed to only get 1 psi drop in boost. i ditched the mbc and got a turbo xs one and it also drops 1 psi of boost after the wastegate opens.
