they work but i had to replace them often and they fell off all the time and tear i would get silicone if you plan to keep the setup for a while worth the xtra $ for the hassle thats what i have now no problems

Just a thought here.. How hot does the piping (on avg.) get coming right from the turbo? I hooked up some L & M fleet supply ones. $2.19 for 2". 
Use some spay on adhesive (sp?) and then clamp them.
