I sent the number on to our Garrett rep, who should be able to shed some light on the subject.

If anyone recognizes the application for this turbo, give a holler! (or post)

my friend has one that looks simillar to that one on his SR20DET (nissan). The fitting on the sides looks like they are for water cooling in and out. 98ctr

Thats off an 89 pontiac turbo trans am Came with a 6 cylinder buick 3.8 engine. I think it was an aniversary edition Indy 500 pace car deal. Thats about all I can tell ya

Ha, so those cars are good for two things, their 3 bar map and their turbo.

I agree that the exhaust inlet is wider than the normal T3 like the Nissans have.

Excellent, I think we are getting somewhere.

Trans Am 89 3.8L GAR TB0348

Did a little searching for images, and am still not sure this is a match....

Check out the oil drain flange on the same TB0348 on a Grand National type car...
