Default Aluminized piping for downpipe?

When I bought my turbo, it came with a couple of 2.5 inch aluminized U-bends and an elbow. Can these be used for a custom downpipe?, they were 1st intended for charge piping.

They look like the same ones you can get at JCwhitney.

yes, aluminized is just a coating to prevent rust. It smells funky when welding and gives you parkinson's disease.
