i got a 14b turbo and it suppose to run 8psi. most of the times im running only 7psi and den sometimes 8psi. some1 told me its my turbo, any1 thinks its the turbo? if not what would the probly be?

how hard is to rebuilt a turbo? and any1 know how much would a shop charge to rebuilt it?

 

it is normal for the internal gate to fluctuate such a small amount like that

 

Reasons like Climate can dictate the level of boost occasionaly. I have seen when a 10psi actuator can peak to nearly 14-15lbs if its really cold. It depends...I wouldnt really worry about 1lb of boost.

definitely the internal wastegate, get an external, way more reliable.

also your guage could be off a little too

 

Or get an EBC.
