Dane, I thought you were selling out and going for a B-series swap?
Why? well some wastegate actuators are set at 8psi, which to some is a bit more boost than they want to run. Me and Beau one night thought, Why dont we just wrap a small carb spring around the wastegate flapper and just put some tension against the spring?.. so we tried it, and got 1psi! wohoo, so We tensioned it even tighter, and got 6 psi, plus it spooled incredibly fast, I was so impressed with this setup, that we started using it on alot of our DSM turbos. I am 100% confident that it will give your more torque, and spool 1000rpms faster. Or Z6 showed this on the dyno.
Downside of the spring.. Bitch to adjust, and if you put the car under a heavy load it will go over desired boost level. And sometimes boost wont hold that steady. But it works!
