HELP ( 8.7 WG spring and all a sudden no boost past 4psi?!) HELP
8.7 WG spring and all a sudden no boost past 4psi?!?!
What is going on? I've been driving perfectly fine at
8.7 psi for awhile now. all a sudden tonight i turned
my car on to leave and i couldn;t boost past 4psi... all
the gears i checked, no boost past 4. I checked all
the vacuum lines and the couplers i can see, and
they LOOKED fine. My BOV doesnt make sound at
4psi anymore like it use to.
What should i check, or check again?
Is this something i shouldnt be too worried about?
PLEASE HELP

bov or piping somewhere... check ALL couplers... not just the ones u can SEE... check the coupler coming off the turbo... those seem to rip often. any holes in ur ic piping can create this... even if u tried to turn up the boost it wont boost ---- and u'll prolly blow the turbo cuz its actually flowing a grip of air but its jus not making it to ur intake manifold because of the hole somewhere... keep looking buddy
I need more help, i dont know wat going on!
performance shop dont know they said maybe be
fuel problem, just a guess, and josh said its possibly a
boost leak somewhere.
Should i check/ open the WG change the spring or
re-adjust it.
remember it doesn;t go pass 4 psi. its even slower
than the motor stock. Once it hit 4psi, it stays at the
powerlevel, doesnt pull any more. Takes forever to
hit higher RPMS.
ANY SUGGESTIONS?

so did u check all the vacuum hoses and couplers CAREFULLY
if it is only a hairline crack, it might be able to hold boost until certain level before it goes.
