Go B or stay D ?
I have one of those turbos in my garage. I took the elbow and cut it off just after the waste gate (before it makes its bend) with a band saw. Then I turned it 180 degrees and welded it back on so it points straight down now.
In about two weeks that turbo will be on my d15 with an external WG. I running a CX tranny so I should be slow as ---- out of the hole with the lag and the gearing in that CX tranny. But when it builds boost it should go like a ******! I can get 43 mph in 1st, 75 mph in 2nd so when i want to pass somone at 55 mph I'll drop it in 2nd watch the boost fly and I'll be gone.
