stay with that D!
they are pretty strong motors outta the box and can handle 10-12psi tuned...
just do yourself a favor and get some ARP head studs; you raise the boost and the head will raise too causing some headgasket issues...took 2 years before it happened to me and when it did bye bye motor
like beerbong says....tuning is the key
the D motors make alot of torque and at 10 psi youl be happy...if itll hook up!

it depends on your goals, just guessing by what you've said so far you'll be perfectly happy with a d series, but if you want to be getting huge 350+ hp numbers d-series is not the answer, and having a budget won't work either. d-series is good for the general population of hmt.

The 70 a/r is the compressor which is the intake side.(the BIG *** snail shell)

yeah anyway my car run like ---- today it bog so much it idlel fine but then when i try to put it in gear and step on it it just bog and doesn't rev pass 5grand but if i drive it slowly then it get up thier wtf is going on it happen to me once and i reset the battery then it work fine but now it happening again anyhelp?

You might be running too rich. What are you using to control fuel supply? If you are using the Apexi VAFC, post your setting so that someone can accurately address this issue.

im using uberdata ... im de-turbo my car soon i think im come back with a better set up tho hehehe

are you using check valves or a missing ling along with uber?
better not be...if so this may be your prob....well maybe some vacuum problems somewhere
trying to trouble shoot....any pics for us to evaluate?
