Default Ghetto FMIC on Mazdaspeed

Decided to get rid of the stock IC and mount a bigger and better FMIC. Runs great except we have a egr valve problem which is sticking and getting shitty idle, but we will replacing it soon. Pictures speaks for themselves, Enjoy the pics.

Here we ran into a problem, we ran out of 90 degree mandrel bends so I rig up a 90 degree and welded and JB weld again. ---- works

Here all done and ready to go.

All and all it was pretty cool project. We blew the pipes off couple of times but after tighten the ---- out of the clamps its good to go again.

from what ive heard of them, they are a great "sporty family car"

fast, but not to fast
handles like its on rails
easy riding for 4 mid sized people
and it will stop on a dime.

thats just what ive heard. i have heard though, they are slow as ---- in the 1/4 but you get one on the highway, go from 5th to 3rd, build boost, and its gone...

i would just like to hear from someone who has one...

and another mod ive heard which is almost a must, a bigger DP.

I'm not impressed either. My neighbor had one. I took it for a ride, the handling was unbeleivable, but the power just felt weak. I wouldn't have even known it was turbocharged had he not said anything. it felt NA to me, but damn did it handle nice.
