Ghetto FMIC on Mazdaspeed

Re:Ghetto FMIC on Mazdaspeed
Well, This isn't my car. :P It's a cousin of mines. I dont' think this turbo is dinky. It's a ball bearing turbo I think its a t25 size(but not sure). It spools up very quick and when you shut the engine down, you can still hear the turbo spinning down, you don't hear this on a regular bushing bearing turbo. (so if you can get your hand on a mazdaspeed turbo grab it)
As for the handling of this car? I was surprise it already has a set of tokico shocks on it already, its pretty soup up already for suspension wise. I can corner with this car pretty hard and not really feel my body being throwing from side to side. But then again, he has update with thicker sway bars.
As for fuel managment, it's bone stock AS-IS for now. Some guys had use Emanage or some other mod ecu, but not sure. It's only putting out 6psi stock on the snail. But I am sure you can bump it higher. As for power I am sure you can bump it up with work, but as stock form, it's ok to beat around the block. :P

The stock turbo is a garrett GT-series !!! .60/.63 T-25. The turbo can make WAY MORE than the stock bottom-end can handle. Turbo mag. said the stock bottom-end was only good for around 220whp... Anyway, they did a few bolt-ons and got it pretty close, and stopped modding it, in fear the block would break...
On a side note... My friend has a Non-vtec, 4-door Accord, with 100K miles, automatic, and 18'' rims and he smoked a dude we work with that has a stock mazda speed ( from a 3rd gear roll !!!! )... Did I meantion that the accord had I/H/E and a zex 55shot I was still disappointed at the turbo cars lack of power...
Downpipe, exhuast, and MBC would be the only thing I would do to a protege.... Its just the stock protege engine with a turbo kit ( I mean STOCK !!! Same compression and everything ).
The mazda speed miata is what I wanna see modded !!!

I knew about the ball bearing turbo and the tokiko struts. thats listed right on the window sticker. i think spearco MAKES the stock IC also. its not stamped, but it was mentioned in motor trend. "...the spearco intercooler and the BB turbo really gives this car the edge it needs...""
Im sure that racing beat has mods for it...as a matter of fact, being bored at work, i think i will look at that... :P
edit
they have suspension/brake/exhaust mods, but nothing really to serious.
