No disrespect to your company, you're just trying to make a honest profit, but a turbo kit done right should never need a missing link in the first place.....calm down guys.

Agreed, everyone should run standalone. But the fact of the matter is, and the economies of scale that we deal with demonstrates that, consumers are not willing to spend the money on the total solution.

All we are providing is a solution for the masses until they can afford the standalone systems.

Standalone systems are too complicated for the average booster....most of the people just want to get it on and get it going real fast....which brings me back to my point......TO SYNAPSE.....each year we at SICON.com push more and more saturn owners to boost...With support from Twistec and turbonetics we have even gotten the Saturn corp. to look our way when the idea of a production model turbo saturn was discussed. Instead the community and Saturn corp. settled on the supercharged saturn to come out soon...the ION Q-TC or just Redline series. in addition more of us are tuning turbos and could use the missing link. We actually sponsor a 650hp turbocharged saturn that until recently was still using checkvalves..now they are using a small spring loaded actuator...but the problem persists for everyday saturn owners...and the missing link is the cure.

If you decide to produce and market this item then please contact me: eric@s-icon.com and in the mean time check out turbosaturns.com and turbosaturns.net

Thanks,

Eric Rosado

using "over seas resources" is business these days, the company i work at is being put out if business because someone can do what they do faster & cheaper by shipping engineering jobs to india.

The only way to combat this is with patents and innovation, these overseas sources work extremely cheap and are good at doing repetitive things and are getting better at others.

Ignoring these types of resources is just plain stupid as far as business goes. I dont want to call any names but i don't really like it. Although I may end up using something like this in the future.

I completely agree that Patents and intellectual properties drive innovation. But when you have both already setup and you are still getting knocked off, all that's left is litigation, and that is not fun, but a necessity these days.

The illegitimate ***** that's knocking us off has even told me point blank that he can't wait for our innovative new fuel pressure regulator to come out so that he can to to China, knock it off and flood the market with it. Now, someone tell me where the motivation is for me to bust my *** to bring innovations to market? I really question sometimes if it is even worth bringing products to market that will significantly benefit everyone when there are entities scheming out there to bring you down from the get go. Sorry, had to vent a bit.

Life is not fair.

As for the missing link not being used in a "real" turbo setup, I agree with that, but at the same time I have to disagree. Using the missing link is basicaly a "hack" just like the AFC system. If everybody had enough money to build whatever system they wanted, this site probably wouldn't even exist considering it is a "homemade" turbo site and most of the people here are on a budget. For the people that don't make $100,000 a year and still want a performance vehicle while maintaining a full time job working 40+ hours a week and feeding a family the missing link is a perfect part of there turbo project allowing them to put a custom turbo on there car without a $1000 standalone fuel managemnet system and several hundred dollars in tuning. Furthermore, how about hooking me up with some of those missing links for all this positive reinforcment!!! J/K.

Yup the Missing Link is used quite a bit around here. A ton of people I know use it and love it. A friend of mine sells them at his shop and he sells alot. About the guy wanting to knock off the new FPR, give me his location and it'll be dealt with. I hate bastards like that. Just like people in the music scene. Come up with your own ----. As a musician it really pisses me off. Woah, I'm angry.

we all think its wrong for counterfeiting but you stealth mode should be stoned for what you just wrote, I think we all are import lovers, some people are hardcore Americans, but you just put your people down when you call peolpe names like that
you should be stoned for what you said. for some stupid gook in china to steal products and sell cheap knockoffs, that is wrong and he should be called a stupid gook for doing it.
