Default FMU... what happens at Idle ???

Hi, got a question for you guys. Let say If I have and 12:1 FMU... what happens at idle, or whenever the turbo is not spooling.. Wouldn't the engine be running way TOO rich??... I mean, 12:1 is good for when the turbo is running optimal (like 8psi in my case)... but what about all the others times when the turbo is running 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 psi... ?

Thanks

No, because you should have a linear fuel map running (as the engine RPM picks up, it will start to dump more fuel). You may have to make some adjustments to get it to work, but it shoudln't be burning rich at idle...

The FMU only increases fuel pressure when it see's boost. At idle, when there isn't any boost, the FMU won't increase fuel pressure. Remember, it's 12psi increase per 1psi of boost. No boost, no pressure.
