yeah it should be fine...i have a vortech 12:1 on my prelude and it runs fine with 8psi...just T off the vacuum line that goes into the stock FPR and hook that up to the fmu...and then hook up the fuel hoses...i believe that the connection in the middle is the inlet and the one on the side of it goes to the return line...might want to research that though...

"should be fine, should be fine"

FMUs are for people who get a sexual stimulation out of blowing their engines to pieces.

get rid of the FMScrew on ebay and get yourself a vafc and some dsm 450s' saving an extra $50-$100. now will cost you
$800. in pistons and rods later

From what I see, you have a choice to make. You can either blow up your motor from a lean condition using a FMU, or from too much timing advance from a AFC, so what's it gonna be?

If it was up to me, I'd modifly the waste gate to run 6psi and use a FMU untill there's enough money saved to do it right.

i've been running a vafc at 11psi for 4 months now with only 3 degrees timming retarding at the distributor and 1 step colder plugs. dyno tunned, no detonation or problems.
it's all about how it's tunned.
