ls/vtec piston selection?
well guys, j davis has me worried that the stock pr4 pistons with the 31mm valve reliefs will def blow wit h my 33mm valves in my b16a head, i know people run stock ls pistons, you guys think i should upgrade of keep the ls pistons... i think ill be fine with the ls pistons plus i want the comp in the 9s

Josh why don't you go for some forged pistons stock bore for an LS motor keeping your comp. ratio in the 9:1ish area? That way when you do boost the bitch again you will not have to worry about broken ringlands etc. Trust me I've seen too many stock LS pistons go due to over boosting and bad tunes. I mean, you CAN use the stock LS internals or even some GSR pistons, but keep in mind their stock. Your power limitations are going to have to be held back

im lookin to get as much hp as 12 psi on the sc61 will bring me.. jeff seems to think 325ish.. well see.
im notputting anymore forged anything into a block unless its sleeved. simple as that :P
